johnnyghost: Hopefully it doesn't get progressively harder for people to bring the look of older versions of Windows to Windows 11. I'm wanting to keep the classic Windows look from 9x/ME/2K in Windows 11, down to replacing the W11 apps with their W2k counterparts.

The Jackal: So they're finally removing the legacy taskbar? Very sad to hear. I've only used the default W11 one for a short while and it was terrible.

R.O.B.: I have not had a great experience with Windows 11, and I'm still on 21H2. Probably going to downgrade to 10 at some point

johnnyghost: I'm also on 21H2, but my laptop stopped being able to install any security updates for some reason. And I've tried many things to fix it, to no avail.

AnyKey: To be honest, I want to use Windows 10 but I have an issue with multi-monitor setup so I'm still using Windows 11 just to avoid the issue.

MinariTzu: Same, however my Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 has an critical bug with my home wifi driver in 1607 LTSB and 1809 LTSC that sadly prevents me to use these versions...

R.O.B.: Windows 10 does work on Intel 12th gen, however it may not perform as well as Windows 11 due to the fact that its scheduler does not know the concept of P and E cores (which were introduced in 12th gen).

kamuisuki: By the way you can disable Ecore ont BIOS, sometimes its a bit better on performance when a program is trying to use only Ecore.
