Btw, the point of having a private beta is so that I have a few testers with a different arangement of operating systems to test the software on. Creating software like this is pretty complicated and bugs in the software are a common thing. To be able to just push out many functions and not get 300+ people screaming at me for their setup breaking is a pretty nice thing. Having a public thread is handy so that people are aware that the project exists and is being worked on. Why public github builds? Short answer: The software can automatically update itself. About the "no instructions": Why would I give instructions for something people can't access? The people who can access the software always get clear instructions on how to install and use the utility.
