I hate the forced UWP/Metro/Tablet UI in Windows 10/11, I wish they kept at least the Control Panel.

Extra info: The batch file can start ApplicationFrameHost first, timeout for 3 seconds, then start SCT.

The batch file is in the private alpha only for now. But SCT should start ApplicationFrameHost itself anyway?

I was talking about the info on page 22 of this thread, which mentioned a batch file. I never even knew the private alpha had a batch file. Also, the non-private alphas I'm pretty sure don't start ApplicationFrameHost.

Working on de-metroifing the Windows UI (and maybe making it 100% usable without DWM)

Guest: I have 12th intel generation and can't even run games on 1809 and maybe 21H2 that is why I am stuck with Windows 11 :-[

R.O.B.: Windows 10 does work on Intel 12th gen, however it may not perform as well as Windows 11 due to the fact that its scheduler does not know the concept of P and E cores (which were introduced in 12th gen). Aug 13, 2023 17:39:20 GMT -8
