Yes! You can disable gradients with UPMCalc (https://www.winclassic.net/thread/120/classic-theme-adjusting-upmcalc-border). You have to disable bit 4.

Surely you could just set both colors of the Active Title Bar to the same value? I'm pretty sure that'd achieve what you want as well.

Setting both to the same color is a workaround, not a fix. The method I supplied is the 'official' way of doing it, it disables a setting within the system to disable the drawing of gradients. (This setting already exists since Win2K)
