I very much enjoy the work going on here and I would like not only to use this theme you've created, but I also would like to help develop it if I can. Please feel free to message me here or on Discord. Would it be possible for you to make a tutorial for what you've been able to do so far? I have a specific computer I wish to use this on.

@herit:// I am happy to accept help in creating a style , I can send it to you, but I do not agree to its distribution in the internet or any other way. Without wanting to be indiscreet, (you don't have to answer me if necessary, or with private message), why don't you want the style to be broadcast ? If you are afraid of intellectual property theft, you can host your themes on Github, it is very easy to select the license on Github. Everything is very clear, the projects hosted on Github are very protected.

@orthodoxwin32 I'm afraid that some other person will pretend to be the author of the style. Yes, that's why I think Github would be more appropriate. Github better protects project ownership and authorship. It seems to me that niivu now hosts its visual styles on Github. I'll try to ask him if he manages to protect his visual styles with Github.

No problem, I won't distribute it without your permission!

I have a problem sending a message to herit: // Go to their profile, then click on the "send message" button. Otherwise, to quote a member, type @ then the username, not the current name. For example for me, my username is orthodoxwindows, so you have to type @ then orthodoxwindows, which gives OrthodoxWin32.

Can you send me the visual style you've developed here?

Can you send me the visual style you've developed here? I send it to you privately. This is the style jointly developed by @gumball and me.

@orthodoxwin32 I care about a graphic appearance such as Windows 1 or Windows 2.0 and when it comes to skin, I once created a Windows 1 theme for Windows 10 My biggest problem is that Windows 2.03 programs do not load themes but display the classic theme. Hi, I hope I am not too late. I do not check this forum often. I would not recommend anything that old. If you want 80s, the most I can suggest is Window Maker. You can use this window manager on Linux systems, and it is meant to faithfully emulate NeXTSTEP, an 80s operating system. Other than that, the best you'll get on Windows-based systems is a 95-like experience. - @genosmrpg7899#2384

Unlike a Windows 95 style, or it's the "true" original style (that's what this forum exists for). However, I don't see how this is technically a problem. Visually speaking, there will always be some problems, but technically, I don't understand. On the other hand, WindowMaket imitates NeXTSTEP well, but NeXTSTEP dates rather from the 90s decade. For Unix/Linux, use a window manager like TWM or VTWM instead to get an 80s decade look: www.xwinman.org/vtwm.php
