But I can't confirm the problem you face right now, regardless of the config.js file. So, you have address bar remaining where you put it? Yes.

Thanks anixx for the Wikipedia tip. Is there an extension to add to each Wikipedia (and Mediawiki) URL the ?useskin=monobook complement ? Would there be a way to make a Userstyle or something to change the globe back to the original? Its a small detail but it's glaring (edit: does the redirector for pale moon also allow it?)

I do not know. For Redirector, I tried on the recent version for Firefox, but unfortunately I couldn't find any version compatible with SeaMonkey (the recent version installs, but nothing appears, the old version (XUL) does not not install.

Oh thats unfortunate, I don't know the functionality of the Firefox redirector to the Pale moon one so I've been fumbling around trying to make it work. So far no luck

With the last userchrome.css you have posted? If so, can you post other scripts from your theme?

The only thing changed is the userchrome.css. My own theme (based on the Redmond Firefox theme) is a completely different one.

I've put out a fix on findbar as a commit on the GitHub repository. I've yet to make a release for it since i'm thinking of doing other changes to MSFX.

MAYBE A MINOR UPDATE: 1.4.1
New:- Go button for the address bar. It will be in the navigation bar but you can drag it next to the address bar.
- Changed order of the stop and refresh button.
- Hopefully clearer README, now named INSTALLATION.
Fixes: - Fixed findbar having nothing in it on Firefox 107+
- Fixed mute button overlaying the tab's icon. They should be next to each other now.
Known Issues:- The favorites item on the menu bar may show a "(B)" next to it. This will certainly happen when going when customizing the toolbar.

Nice. I like this update, especially Go button and reordered Stop and Refresh buttons. Also I want to ask. Do you plan to add large toolbar icons?

You can have my theme. It has both compact mode (which is now my "IE2-mode") and the normal mode with large icons. All the icons are in the image folder.
Even though I don't think that my theme will work (out of the box) for you, the toolbars.css and the icons.css has all the code and stuff to create both a compact mode and a normal mode UI.

Very good. Can you please address the issue of the position of address bar not being remembered?
Also, your version with K-Meleon look is much appreciated if yould make it as an option. Currently there is a problem that the active tab is not well distinguished and I often misclick.
For instance, in PaleMoon they are more visually distinct:
But the K-Meleon like look is much better in my opinion, especially given that you realized it so successfully.

Dragging address bar to the tools toolbar is not remembered between sessions. This would be a great thing to save vertical space:
This looks great but gets reset in all new windows:

Edit move_bars.uc.js and find var urlbar_on_toolbar = bookmarks; then replace bookmarks with navigation

New GitHub commit. Toolbars now uses the real normal state toolbar icons from Internet Explorer 5 (thx AnyKey). Also includes fixes for Firefox 108+ and now the toolbar spritesheets are now separate images, no longer base64.
