It is already possible with OpenGlass' legacy branch. DWMBG and OpenGlass master branch will just render it entirely opaque. I'm using DWMBlurGlass right now, but on my Windows 8.1 VM i'm using AeroGlass and it had got the start menu and taskbar transparent on my VM, so I should use OpenGlass Legacy on my main desktop then? avava |

I was researching how to get the Windows 7 Basic theme on Windows 11, when I came across 2 programs, BasicThemer2 and BasicThemer...5? BasicThemer2 is by Ingan121, whereas BasicThemer5 is by arukateru/Alcatel BasicThemer2 used honest imagery, a copy of Windows 10 transformed into Windows Vista, with several programs including BasicThemer2 running. As for BasicThemer5, it has way more deceiving imagery. It just used an image of Windows 7 with a BasicThemer5.exe running in the background to mask the fact that the image is Windows 7 The question is, which one is better? BasicThemer5 was flagged as malware, whereas BasicThemer2 was not flagged. Does BasicThemer5 have some kind of advantage over BasicThemer2? The post "STAY AWAY FROM ANY CONTENT MADE BY ALCATEL!" mentions to stay away from BasicThemer5 along with other programs/sites by Alcatel. Brawllux is so annoying and over dramatic, the only thing that was a virus was the dwm blur glass 3.0 even though it wasn’t released publicly, basic themed 5 is just a false positive |
