Amazing transformation, it looks so promising. How did you guys get accurate Windows XP title bar buttons without Windowblinds? I thought without that program it's impossible to get accurate title bar buttons. Where did you guys find so many XP icon alternatives for Windows 10, given that Windows 10 has a lot of brand new icons? There you go,
Any Luna theme for theming *require tool
Themetool for themeing
basicthemer2 disable dwm regedit title size to 10? *with bold
might use regedit if window button doesn't corretly

Thank you a lot! Do you also know what registry key is that and if it could also work with other themes? It could be a great idea to avoid Windowblinds although for now it seems like Windows 7 themes are impossible to apply without it, given that the navigation bar is broken and nothing seems to fix it. Taskbar thumbnails are also on the ugly fluentui and can't be properly fixed either.

run regedit there Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics
change Caption height and Caption width to -375 and PaddedBorderWidth to 0

Thank you a lot! Very interesting indeed. Do you know if for other themes this WindowMetrics configuration is valid too or they need their own? I presume they'd need their own as Regedit specifies caption height and width. I've been wondering if there is a XP version of almost every windows 10 icon like the windows 7 icon pack that can be found on this forum, as the theme would need that. An XP replacement for imageres, shell32 and other such icons. I wonder too how is the windows 7 command bar (when you disable the windows 10 ribbon) removed. I remember it was a file called shellstyle or something within Resources/themes that needed to be modified, although I did so once and it didn't remove the command bar. That file exists in System32 too so maybe modifying that one could work.

How did you get the throbber and what shellstyle file did you modify to disable the command bar? The one in the theme folder or the system32 one?

I wanted a classic XP theme so did it with WindowsBlinds (Editing SimplexDesigns's eXperience11) -I tried editing RoyaleNoir by travis to do the classic theme, and it just wasn't working out - ended up bricking my own pc for a bit LOL (Not his fault! just not experienced with msstyle theming) -I could use the real winclassic theme for windows 11, but wouldn't be able to get the throbber (but on the plus side would have real client edge -the throbber and client edge is faked on as (even with SCT FEH) client edge wouldnt appear - I don't know how to make explorer compact like it was in XP, its very noticable with the classic explorer buttons as the client edge line isn't supposed to touch the bar. -I know this isnt the best way to get the theme, but it works and stays in place maximized too, I have the throbber and clientedge lines loaded as a glyph aligned to the right edge -and of course with limitations there are certain things ican't change because of how windows blinds does skinning -if anyone wants to try it/edit them too let me know, especially if you wanna try and fix the maximized titlebar cause that looks nasty lol -also to get the menubar to appear on windows 11, replace explorerframe in system32 with the one attatched here (not responsible if you mess things up) DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THIS ON WINDOWS 10 OR EARLIER IT WILL NOT WORK. its strictly only for windows 11 22H2 Attachments:
ExplorerFrame.zip (1.09 MB)

Throbber sewn into the menubar (Explorer & Shell > Explorer > Menu Bar > Background). shellstyle in theme folder Interesting thing, thanks. What number did you edit in shellstyle? I think it was -33 or something to remove the command bar. I tried it once in the regular Windows 10 theme and didn't work. Do you know if by modifying a theme the navigation bar, which stays white colored when applying other themes or the basic theme can be fixed? Or at least if its color can be changed to match the theme.

You need to open it with any resource editor and change the 633 bitmap. Also, if you need a header in the control panel, change the 635 bitmap

I've been looking for this for a long time, and I finally know it. This is why the navigation bar is so stubborn, as it's related to the left pane, which is the 633 bitmap. Microsoft probably did so owing to the ugly dark theme. Then this means things get even more complicated as to make the nav bar match any theme that pane would have to look like the nav bar.

It's been a while since I posted anything on here about my setup, so here goes:
I installed 102ESR and got Phroton, a recreation of Photon for Firefox 90+. Beforehand I actually installed regular release Firefox and used some of travis' IE themes, because they were broken on ESR, but today I just decided to just stick with 102ESR after I discovered this theme. As of now I have been liking Firefox way more than Chromium, especially now that I do not need to worry anymore about Manifest V2 and adblockers.
I got a way more accurate Tiles view on My Computer thanks to hana . Before this, when I selected something on My Computer, the text selection would be stretched. I did some research with the registry and I found out I can do the same thing with files (which have descriptions on the Tiles view), BUT you have to do it all separately for each file type, which is not ideal at all. I can probably just export the Classes key as a .reg file, massreplace all the TileInfo string values with just the one that shows the name, however I haven't tested this yet and I think it could break a few things.
And finally, the most groundbreaking thing here since I last posted Classic icon selection effect on the desktop! With no bugs with the theme itself! This is done via a Windhawk mod that travis sent me. saturn is it possible you share your Quero dll? Or could you possibly share how you added the Go button?
