Just modified Luna10 to look like silver. It's kinda inaccurate but i'm happy with the results. I'll think about posting the msstyles when I get minor kinks worked out.

I'm wondering, could you make a silver variant of the modified royale noir theme or a more accurate luna theme? I can probably make a luna theme that is more accurate. The only inaccuracies I remember from my modified luna10 theme are the tooltips, explorer toolbar background and menu bar. It can't take long to fix them.

It can't take long to fix them. For the menu bar and the menus, the problem comes from the fact that under Windows XP, these elements were not supported by the visual style engine, so it displayed the classic theme (modified with two new parameters in HKCU\Control Panel\Colors). The only way to have a perfect rendering of the menus would be to develop a tool to disable the visual style only for the menus.

For now I have too much work with the development of ThemeSwitcherScript (and in life for other things), but it is possible that soon I will add the Embedded version and the Olive green version.
However, if someone wants to add them first, I have nothing against it, and I encourage them to do so.

I am using VMware Workstation Pro version 15.5.6. You can't install 21H2 on it if you use it on LTSC 2021 from my testing. I did some extra research but I might need to keep using latest version due to compatibility issue. I also searched about enabling native title bar in newer versions but I had no lucks. Thanks.

I probably should've mentioned this earlier but there exists a buggy version of 16.2.0 that has dark mode broken, not only that but also the native titlebar broken. download3.vmware.com/software/wkst/file/VMware-workstation-full-16.2.0-18760230.exeIt works good but... well sometimes 3D support on VMs likes to break with this version.

fun fact: removing all of the properties on Explorer::ListView > LISTITEM makes it revert to the selection used in classic theme.

Unfortunately, doing the same thing to Desktop::Listview breaks the msstyles.

Superb discovery travis, well done! It's a shame for the desktop, maybe it's possible to force Explorer to consider the desktop as a window (but I have no idea how that would be possible, nor the consequences of that).

I just attempted to play around with window detective to try and see if I could atleast get rid of the theming part of the desktop (which should trigger an effect similar in Windows XP) and I did not find anything. I think it's best just to leave it as it is.

Removing all properties but imagefile on the "Hot" state will not break the msstyle. Removing it is what causes it to break the theme.

By the way I found something strange with Discord (and maybe other Electron applications). I removed everything from listview and it works fine on everything else, but discord insists to use the default Luna10 selection thing.

Maybe it has to be something with Discord being a 32-bit program. Because it works fine on save/open dialogs on stuff like Firefox.

Removing it is what causes it to break the theme. I tried that and it just made the selection thing completely white. I decided to try and delete everything, the result being... This is rather interesting, probably got to be a problem with 1809 being buggy since you use LTSC 2019.
