Really amazing! It really looks accurate and 100x better than the other Windows 11/10 XP transformations. Are we likely gonna see a tutorial on how to replicate this, plus a transformation pack sometime? Really wanna slap this on my computer. I can write instructions later... or actually now, hold on.

Finally about time I wrote something for lots of people here who want a XP theme. 0) This is optional, but recommended, make a system restore point and have Windows recovery media ready in case you get a "black screen of death" or something, or if you change your mind about having a XP theme. 1) Get the XP Luna theme here: cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/752905992777498654/1043600923785699399/modifiedstuff.zip There may be some updated and more accurate versions of Luna (I don't remember now, but they'll be in the Visual Styles category of this forum). You will also would like to have Windows XP window metrics applied to get it looking very accurate. Here is a pile of registry files that will apply the stuff: cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/889255367433936899/1062459917258215514/Window_Metrics_and_Colors.zip apply them and log off, then back on. Also if your titlebar text color is black go to Settings, Personalization > Colors search for and tick "Title bars and window borders" in there and select Default blue as the color. 2) Get the XP Classic/Open Shell skin in that zip too, put it in C:\Program Files\Open Shell\Skins (it depends if you have Classic or Open shell installed), then load up the XML from this www.classicshell.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=3025&p=30741#p30741. You can load them by going to Open Shell Settings and going to Backup at the bottom of the window, and select Load XML File. 3) Get RetroBar and apply the XP Luna theme 4) For the file explorer I used SCT.FEH for getting borders and removing navigation pane, FindeXer for the left pane, Quero for the address bar and also Open Shell for the XP navigation buttons. The XP navigation buttons are here: www.winclassic.net/thread/842/windows-xp-classic-explorer. A quero theme is also included in it. For FindeXer, instructions and many replicated PNGS are available here www.winclassic.net/thread/1188/bringing-toolbar-section-explore-kinda. 5) Get XP system files from a windows XP virtual machine or real computer (I recommend to get them from the x64 Professional edition of XP) and grab mspaint, notepad and calc from system32. You are free to experiment with many more like sol.exe and winmine.exe, I'm too lazy to send a list of all. 6) For icons it's a bit complicated to get accurate ones. I got an accurate XP imageres from deviantart from someone but they deactivated their account, it's a large file (like almost 80mb iirc) and my internet upload speeds are in the toilet. If you have any more questions don't be afraid to ask.

Well done! This is just the beginning...
The only problem here is BasicThemer would leave some windows burned into the screen (as seen on the top left) when it disappears; plus I have to turn it on manually (unless I can put it in startup somehow, but the only problem is the error message that asks if I wanna run it as admin, don't want that everytime I log on). I might need to try another themer (I did hear of another theme changer that requires it), and also the menus do need tweaking (plus in some cases when right clicking on OpenShell or something the menu does not appear), but otherwise good start!

I suggest to use this icon pack for toolbar icons instead of the one on my thread. ICO and PNG formats are available. Most of icons were directly extracted from system file so they should be good with any color schemes and more exact. (though disabled icons might not be so exact) If you find any missing icons, please let me know. (also where I can find them if possible)

I've turned them all on (and the checkbox for correct rendering with classic theme), but menu still shows glitch with some right click menus not opening in some areas.

You have to turn off the immersive menu option.

You have to turn off the immersive menu option. So I've turned off the immersive menu option, however after turning that off, menus no longer show (in Explorer and some areas).
This image shows the right click of "my computer" highlighted, but no menu showing.

So, is there, like, any workaround to the black screen of death? I had to restore to a restore point 2 times because of it, I'm using SecureUXTheme

Speaking of, not sure if this is off topic, but whenever I use WindowBlinds with SCT.FEH (or even just with Address Bar Remover) OpenShell freaks out and doesn't display anything correctly

I remember fixing this somehow but I don't remember exactly. I think what I did was modify the actual msstyles itself to hide the navigation pane (it's possible to do that iirc).

Nothing new, though I am waiting for OrthodoxWin32 to finish working on his Embedded theme, which I plan to use on my setup.

I did some extra research but I might need to keep using latest version due to compatibility issue. I also searched about enabling native title bar in newer versions but I had no lucks. Thanks. I probably should've mentioned this earlier but there exists a buggy version of 16.2.0 that has dark mode broken, not only that but also the native titlebar broken. download3.vmware.com/software/wkst/file/VMware-workstation-full-16.2.0-18760230.exeIt works good but... well sometimes 3D support on VMs likes to break with this version. A little update, I found VMware Workstation 14 to be working good on LTSC 2021. More specifically, you should use 14.1.8, because earlier versions will bugcheck your system. I did not test it extensively, and so that's what I'm doing right now. Download link here: download3.vmware.com/software/wkst/file/VMware-workstation-full-14.1.8-14921873.exe
