Remember the old 'My Documents' icon that was on the desktop from Windows 98 to Windows XP? You know, the one that was a shell folder, and not just a shortcut? Have you ever wanted that on Windows Vista and newer? Well if so, then this tweak is for you! This is something I put together a few years ago (from my early days on SevenForums), and I thought I'd share it on here. NOTE: This will not replace your user profile icon. This will simply allow you to have both icons on the desktop, as seen here: Also, chances are, you're going to need to take ownership of the following registry keys, as well as their subkeys: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{450D8FBA-AD25-11D0-98A8-0800361B1103}Please let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy! MyDocs_Desktop_Icon_WinVista.zip (5.44 KB)

Thanks, that's very convenient (and looks better than an additional shortcut). And it doesn't only show up on the desktop but also in those little dialog boxes where you have to choose a file (like when you install a driver manually).
