For some reason, this does not work.
I honestly do NOT know why, I imported the reg keys properly and swapped out the files to nothing? One I tried on 10, the other 11. Neither worked. It worked for me before but not now? I will try once more just to be ABSOLUTELY sure.

This will prevent you from doing any modification to the registry although you can still view it fine.

But all works fine now, I knew the 7TSP one was corrupt so I just grabbed one from a fresh 22H2 install instead, although I could have done SFC, same thing tho.

If the functions are missing from shell32.dll then can't you edit sud.dll to call from shell7.dll (or whatever you want to call it) and load it via that, also read this, don't know what version it is, probably 1803 www.tenforums.com/software-apps/98833-how-restore-old-default-programs-menu.html

And no,that doesnt work. You cannot just hexedit it to make this functional. If it was that easy i would implement it already.
