You didn't add all of the strings necessary the thing is, the MUI that i made, is basicly 1:1 to the english modified one (that is in the pack), only left a single string that does nothing. i have no idea if it's my mun file, the dll or something else. EDIT: I tested the User Accounts page with the english mui (changed the MUI BIN file so that it actually reads it) and it's still broken. Oh, I remember when I translated into Russian there was the same problem, but it somehow resolved itself... |

Beautiful! Two suggestions though: -I would like to see an automatic installer for idiots like me...
-I know that I said this before, the Default Apps CPL, I have an idea how to restore it. Using the new resource redirect mod, why don`t just redirect that to a custom CPL?
Don`t get mad at me please, I am just curious! I may try to make a custom CPL...

We could have an auto installer, but no no no, resource redirect does not redirect code, and if you make a custom Cpl, there are two api’s that have been completely removed from windows but, there still is a chance with this “set user api” application |

An auto installer is at the works. I got lots of people requesting this to be included. But it will not be like you click it and it installs all CPL items. I am thinking about making an installer for each applet so if you do not want to have one applet it will not be forced down your throat. This might not be the case for applets that needs another applet restored to funcion properly tho. It will be a must to include both in the installer. I will also accept translation of modded CPL pages for people who want to localize this pack. I will not let the translators do everything tho,i will also prepare a document for people who wants to translate stuff so all translations can be accurate to the originals. They should be able to do it better than me since i can only speak 2 languages fluently. And for your 2nd question,the resource redirect mod. As you can see by the name,it redirects resources. What are those resources,UIFILES,BITMAPS,PNGS,ICONS,XMLS and other stuff you can edit with RisohEditor or Resource Hacker. The code or the backend cannot be redirected by resource redirect mod because it is literally not a resource,its pre compiled and closed source code. So it is not possible to restore it like that. |
