No I've managed to DUI modded the Action Center settings by importing UI FILE and XMLFILE resources from 7's ActionCenterCPL.dll to 10's ActionCenterCPL.dll from system32. just use 8.0's actioncentercpl.dll with the dui70 trick
7's uifile has less features
According to Brawllux, 8.0's Action Center CPL with dui71 trick is extremly unstable which causes explorer to crash. |

Its made to be consistent with the 7 one but with one bad side,the strings it adds are hardcoded. You will need to edit them yourself in your themes shellstyle. |

The 7 style Windows Update page seems to take over 5 minutes to load for some reason. I made sure to redo the steps in case I missed anything initially but it's still slow to load.

Make sure that it is not caused by other modifications you have done to your system,because that is not supposed to happen. If things still do not work correctly just grab the dll file from a windows 7 iso. |

You're right, just tested it on a VM and it works fine. I figured out which modification was causing this but since the other pages work I'll leave it be for now.

Let me say this, Windows 7 does have Biometric Devices CPL but 8.0's biocpl and 7's biocpl both looked the same.

I knew this already,you can go all the way down to 8.0 netcenter,but it does not bring any functionality so its literally useless. Also can you please send homegroup regkeys you exported? I tried exporting them for a clean vm but they still end up getting corrupted somehow. |
