As of today this mod can change it's looks to:
Windows XP(Luna only for now)
Windows Vista(Aero and Basic)
Windows 7 Build 7000(Aero and Basic)
Windows 7(Aero and Basic)
Windows 8.X(8.0 Blue and 8.1 Yellow)
Windows 10(The undo button)

I was making a Control Panel restoration(also shared here, almost everyone here has seen it probably) but i wanted to expand stuff a little bit.
I am working on a very special Windows utility right now.
These 2 screenshots are from the same OS,a modded Windows 10 1909, only difference is one simple script.
This would not be possible without Dulappy's amazing Aero Window Manager which is very flexible when it comes to personalization,
the caption buttons would just look funky and out of place.
Here are the screenshots of 2 presets that the script supports now.
First Preset, Windows 7 Shell and Control Panel:
Second Preset, 8.X Shell and Control Panel:
I would like to share videos of it when i update this but sadly i cannot post videos here. |

How does it work? -It will allow you to change between 7-8(i am thinking about adding 10 RTM and Vista presets too) themes and shells without restarting(most of the time). -Right now it can change whole CPL look. -Hide pages that were not in that version. -It can change SIB style and orb. -It can change AWM preset. -It can import correct metrics for the desired look.

Hello. Your mod for restoring an old control panel is cool. But are there any plans to add multi lang support? I spent a day porting lines for my language, but in the end it turned out to be in vain. Well, I guess that i can replace dll.mun's in the en-US folder with mine and it will work. But this is still some kind of half-measure and a crutch. Thank you

Thank you I know that i am answering this a bit too late. No,even if i want to. Some files i used are from beta builds of windows. Which only have en-US locale. And no copying your own locale files to en-US wont solve it. |
