Flyout thick borders are there because Windows 7 DWM calculates a margin between the window visual border and the window rect on thin window frames
Windows 10 with margins
Windows 7 without margins
ah i suspected that dwm had to do something with the borders as they just work on win7, tested it out and it works, but ofc with the issues dwmblurglass has with them, i might look into this myself tmr

Kudos for restoring this! This was perhaps the last UWP/Metro remnant left unpatched on the taskbar side of things. Hopefully connecting to networks can later be addressed. In the mean time, I shall defer to the Windows 8.x network flyout.

You are not good at searching 5 characters and changing one of them? ok then, what characters to replace? All you have to do is go to a hex editor and find dui70.dll and replace it with dui71.dll. There only are 2 bytes that you have to change. You don’t have to download one you can just use hexed.it

You are not good at searching 5 characters and changing one of them? ok then, what characters to replace? My guy do you forget every previous message after you read the newest one? Change every occurance of dui70 you see to dui71,then copy dui70 and its mui from 7 and rename thsoe files to dui71.

Is there a way to hide the van.exe whenever its launched instead of keeping it minimized? compile it without console window just make a winforms app instead of a c++ console project and delete the form part , thats the easiest way i know of to do it
