Can you send the detailed output logs of the windhawk mod? Also your exact Windows version string and the dll files you are using. By string I assume you mean "10.0.19045.2965". The DLL's are ripped from a 7 (Service Pack 1) ISO's install.wim Here's the output logs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The output log is here --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DebugViewConsole 1.8.0.102 Listening for OutputDebugString messages... 16:54:28.110 3124 explorer.exe [WH] [local@win7-van-restore] [225:Wh_ModUninit]: Uninit 16:54:28.115 7888 explorer.exe [WH] [local@win7-van-restore] [225:Wh_ModUninit]: Uninit 16:54:28.125 3124 explorer.exe [WH] [local@win7-van-restore] [155:Wh_ModInit]: Init 16:54:28.125 3124 explorer.exe [WH] [local@win7-van-restore] [237:operator()]: Hooked 00007FFF39F6C690: private: long __cdecl CPniMainDlg::_ShowMiniFlyout(void) 16:54:28.125 3124 explorer.exe [WH] [local@win7-van-restore] [237:operator()]: Hooked 00007FFF38DA03A0: public: void __cdecl CVanUI::HideVanUI(void) 16:54:28.125 7888 explorer.exe [WH] [local@win7-van-restore] [155:Wh_ModInit]: Init 16:54:28.125 7888 explorer.exe [WH] [local@win7-van-restore] [237:operator()]: Hooked 00007FFF39F6C690: private: long __cdecl CPniMainDlg::_ShowMiniFlyout(void) 16:54:28.125 7888 explorer.exe [WH] [local@win7-van-restore] [237:operator()]: Hooked 00007FFF38DA03A0: public: void __cdecl CVanUI::HideVanUI(void) Please send me the files you replaced. And Make sure to choose "detailed logs" for windhawk mod log output.

You did not hexedit every call of dui70 to dui71. There not just one call in van.dll and xwtpdui.dll. Attachments:

Still nothing... If the EXE only works it must be something with the Windhawk mod then.

For me on a vm (21h2 ltsc) this network flyout doesn't work with the windhawk mod, but when i open up the van.exe file it works. Every file that i replaced is from Win7 x64 Polish and kept pnidui.dll and it's .mui and still the same. I don't and never set the Win8 network panel. I have replaced dui70 strings in HxD with dui71 in VAN.dll and xwtpdui.dll and still nothing. Before doing anything to this install, i updated it as much as i can.
(forgot the logs so here they are): DebugViewConsole 1.8.0.102 Listening for OutputDebugString messages... 23:04:14.378 1988 explorer.exe [WH] [local@win7-van-restore] [155:Wh_ModInit]: Init 23:04:14.380 1988 explorer.exe [WH] [local@win7-van-restore] [237:operator()]: Hooked 00007FFA9FE8C690: private: long __cdecl CPniMainDlg::_ShowMiniFlyout(void) 23:04:14.380 1988 explorer.exe [WH] [local@win7-van-restore] [237:operator()]: Hooked 00007FFA7D4703A0: public: void __cdecl CVanUI::HideVanUI(void) 23:04:14.391 4204 explorer.exe [WH] [local@win7-van-restore] [155:Wh_ModInit]: Init 23:04:14.391 4204 explorer.exe [WH] [local@win7-van-restore] [237:operator()]: Hooked 00007FFA9FE8C690: private: long __cdecl CPniMainDlg::_ShowMiniFlyout(void) 23:04:14.391 4204 explorer.exe [WH] [local@win7-van-restore] [237:operator()]: Hooked 00007FFA7D4703A0: public: void __cdecl CVanUI::HideVanUI(void)

I sent a registry key in this thread. It includes every regkey that is required combined into one. Import it normally (NOT AS TI) and try again.
