Games included: Minesweeper, Spider, Solitaire, Freecell and MS Hearts. As an added bonus, I've thrown in the 98 Plus version of Spider as well. You can get them here.
Only game missing is 3D Space Cadet, but someone's already uploaded it here.

Next up, classic Windows programs that came with the OS. All of these were taken mostly from XP, a few from W98, and one or two from W7. This mostly stuff like Wordpad. mplay32 and Calculator. Programs included: Wordpad (98), Writer (Original version of Wordpad), DXDiag (XP), Notepad (98), CD Player, Deluxe CD Player, Calculator (98), Calculator (W7), Sound Recorder (98), Mplay32, MSPaint (98), Master Volume (98), Master Volume (XP), Telnet (98) and XP End of Service notice. Most of them work fine, except CD Player, which will detect what drives you have (both virtual or physical), but won't detect any CDs you insert. The Deluxe version WILL detect discs, but volume adjustment is broken, so you can't increase it from the program, only from the OS. Master Volumes load, but like CD Player, don't actually allow you to control the OS volume. Sound Recorder doesn't record, but I've not tried it much - it could be fixed via compatibility settings. Allows you to convert sounds though. You can grab the lot here.

Others: Volume2, a third party, free replacement works and looks so much nicer. It's also skinnable, and thus works/looks great with Classic Theme. Link: irzyxa.wordpress.com/---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Default clock is crap. Let's be honest. If you want a better, customizable one, that includes a better, more classic Calendar, then download TClock. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DirectX Dialog - DirectX Control Panel . Link: www.3dcenter.org/download/directx-control-panel----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------- If like me, you still use CDs/DVDs, and are lazy, then might I suggest WinEject? Allows you to eject and close the disc tray from the taskbar. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 7+ Taskbar Tweaker. Don't let the name fool you into thinking this only works on W7; it works fine on 8, 8.1 and 10 as well. This handy little tool allows you to tweak your taskbar to your liking, icluding removing those annoying tab previews in W10 and hiding the taskbar's desktop icon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This website: www.nirsoft.net/ Goldmine of great programs. Wayyyyy to many to list. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ReactOS has it's own version of classic Windows games and programs like the ones above. These are impossible to find on their own, so I ripped them from a ReactOS install. If you want to check out the ReactOS versions of MSPaint, Spider, Calculator, Mplay32, etc, then get'em here.

I prefer Vista's Paint. It is better than the one from previous versions.

WXP In-built games with their icons changed to their '98 versions. I've bundled these modified versions here - they also include Spider '98 and Spider '98 Plus (both untouched).

Bump: Turns out the games I ripped from W98, weren't from W98 - they're from XP. I got the '98 versions, and tried running them, but they're 16 bit programs, so they won't run on 64 bit operating systems. So... Winevdm otvdm? github.com/otya128/winevdm/releases runs 16bit fine

According to VirusTotal, one of the antivirus companies has flagged one of the included programs as being adware. That can't be true because it all came from a clean virtual machine, so it's got to be a false-positive. Just to be on the safe side, I'll re-post it all again, from another VM. Give me a few hours. Hi The Jackal, can you upload the applications again?

Google Drive has the the annoying habit of marking safe files as infected, when they're not. And I wouldn't use Dropbox if you paid me. Anyways, I've re-uploaded the archive to my Internet Archive account: archive.org/details/classic-windows-apps.-7z
