Kiyaku Download Ubuntu on to your Computer download Rufus than burn the Ubuntu Iso than as restart your computer and hit the F Keys not the Letter F but the F keys with the numbers on them or the ESC Key than once Ubuntu boots up it will pop up with a Window close it and it will bfring you stright to the Desktop mount your Disk that has Windows installed than open it than follow what's beening done in this image its easier to do than in Windows. 1. Right Click and hit Properties. 2. Click on permissions. 3. Make sure it looks something like this. 4. It will prompt you change the 3rd one from Read-Only & Access Files and change it to Read and Write & Create and Delete files like the other 2 options above them. After you wait a bit why it sets up the permissions and boom wa la. Drag the DDLs into System32 and the MUI into EN-US which is a folder in System32 and DWM.exe and uDWM.dll go in the System32 folder while Explorer.exe goes in the Windows folder and you paste the Aero Mstyles from my Windows 8.1 Theme that you can download off the Archive.org into the Resources Folder which can be found under the Windows folders you go into the Themes folder which it should be like this Windows > Resources > Themes > Aero that is where you replace the old Aero files and after you will see a folder called EN-US so paste their .mui files there as well

Press shift+F10 to launch cmd, then launch a program like explorer++ or 7-Zip, you can also use cmd if you don't need visualization while overwriting. And even if you get 8.1 DWM working like this you won't be able to launch anything that 10 added(10 UWP programs and modified metro ui leftovers). You also cannot use Windows 8.1 themes on Windows 10 1703 and newer without modifications because the theming engine was updated. Last version that supports 8.1 themes natively is 10 1607.

this means that nothing works in this pack or what?, also how 8.1's dwm can work on 10 directly from a 8.1 iso, that doesn't make sense, also replacing dwm files from an older version will result in the system not booting.

Please read those again, but slowly and carefully this time. I didn't even say that something worked there.
And the files hosted here is for experimenting or reverse engineering purposes. It's not something like "here are ur files to get 8.1 ui on 10 enjoy"
