A while back, the Windows 7 Network Flyout was restored on Windows 10. The files and instructions for it are hard to find, so I compiled everything into one archive. As well, I made some improvements: - Made an installer script so you don't need to do the manual work of replacing files. - Restored the actual Windows 7 pnidui.dll, which comes with its own advantages: - Doesn't rely on a Windhawk mod just to open the flyout - Has a loading icon which was removed in Windows 8, build 8102 - Has the custom DirectUI tooltip which doesn't fade in and has italic text
As the original mod also did thick frames, I have integrated its thick framing functionality into Aero Flyout Fix, version 1.1.0, which should be on the Windhawk repository soon.

You can get the files here: Do you happen to know how I might go about achieving the same thing but for another language, like 'es-MX,' for example?

Get a Windows 7 ISO in that language, open it up in 7-Zip, go to sources\install.wim, Windows\System32\es-MX. Create a folder named es-MX under the files directory, next to en-US. Copy the files that exist in en-US from the es-MX folder on your ISO into the es-MX folder you just created. Then open a command prompt as administrator, navigate to the folder where the pack is, and run install /locale es-MX.

I tested the Windhawk mod on Windows 10 1903. It breaks the network icon's tooltip.

Awesome work! I see that attempting to connect to unfamiliar/password protected networks just causes the flyout to attempt to connect indefinitely. Given that replacing the flyout involves replacing Windows 10 dll files, will we be able to update the installed flyout if its full functionality is restored?

This stopped working for me, and I tried reinstalling but it says: "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. done." and "A duplicate file name exists, or the file cannot be found." when installing repeatedly.
Edit: I seem to have fixed it by ending explorer.exe and reinstalling it through task manager.
