Hello! Please - maybe someone know good tutorial (preferably written, not video), or could tell just main steps, how to replace those two files... I am a little lost. :/ Edit: Managed to do this... ltsc iot 24H2 Explorer (10.0.22621.3527) + ExplorerFrame.dll [10.0.22000.2245] from 1st post = black screen. Explorer is for unknown reason not loading. Also tried explorer 10.0.22621.3733 - the same. So I've download W10 explorer (10.0.19041.1023) from archive.org and, as you see - it works.

Thanks for this new thread anixx. TBH - I am little affraid about W10 explorer in W11 (coz of many possible problems I wasn't able to notice in short test). IMVHO - better would be to use the latest W11 explorer able to give us classic taskbar and system tray. But how to do this trick? :]

Even the size of its file halved. Maybe one can use one from some early W11 24H2 build, but I was unable to turn on the classic taskbar.

Yup, I meant latest possible to use (classic taskbar and system tray - both present). Explorer.exe build 26100.1150 is OK, right? I guess running this one could be better than explorer.exe from W10.

Me too - but would be great if we could use this build. To do this, we need to figure out what makes it unusable (or why it is like that) and block this 'blocker'. Maybe EP devs may know? (I expect from MS that it is smthng like "blocker", "flag" etc)

you should prob just wait till ep_taskbar is ready, that should have classic theme stuff done in it when its ready

FYI + made this www.youtube.com/watch?v=SU-jtQqjj-A&t=354s (testsigning + nointegritychecks set) I replaced ExplorerFrame.dll [10.0.22000.2245] (was stay in system from first tries with W11 explorer) + W10 explorer.exe (10.0.19041.1023) + ExplorerPatcher 22621.3880.66.4 + Windhawk's Enable Classic Theme by handle method (Or I made test with ClassicThemeTray.exe too? don't remember now) command to restart explorer was: taskkill /f /im sihost.exe I guess it was more stable (but do not used it for hours) than my later tries (explorer closing after few minutes). There was language input popup after explorer restart + no internet icon in tray. Maybe someone could check this way too? I will do my tests again when will back to this PC, now it is impossible. Maybe some more dlls should be used? Maybe with specific dlls also W11 explorer from 22H2 would work?
