I have pretty much all W98 icons but I just can't find the one this forum uses for tabs. Here: Could someone here who has it post it here so that I and everyone else who wants it can have it? And speaking of classic theme. I have windows 10 64 bit. I opened the .exe and clicked "Enable Classic Theme now" but nothing happened. Then I opened deskn.cpl and chose the theme I wanted, but it only changed the fonts. I didn't have the classic window borders and buttons. How can I activate this? And how can I have the button-style items from the W98 taskbar? I mean when you open something and it shows the icon and the name on the taskbar. I already have the 98 style with classic shell and I even made my own custom button in Spanish, since I'm Spanish. I'll share it here if anyone here wants it. I'd be extremely grateful to anyone who can help me with these things.

Does classic theme work with applications that aren't explorer-based like notepad?
You can use custom buttons with classic shell using the Custom Button option.

You mean our favicon? That's custom made, however it's based on a couple of different official icons (such as IE4's HTML file icon). Here's a download link for it. Regarding the "Enable Classic Theme Now" option, that will only affect newly-opened processes. You'll need to restart any programs that you want to use the classic theme with.

I have no idea about your first question. I can't find the custom button option to change the appearance of taskbar buttons except the start button, which I already changed. How do I modify the taskbar buttons?

I edited it so only the shadowed version remains. Regarding your first question, when I enable classic theme, I just can't open the task manager. It shows a window but before anything appears in it, it closes immediately. What the f**k is happening? Because I have no idea.

Because I have no idea. The default Task Manager is broken with the Classic Theme. You'll need to enable the classic task manager in order to use it. Keep in mind that the classic task manager doesn't allow you to modify startup programs, so if you ever need to do that, you'll need to enable classic msconfig as well. Hope this helps.

A good alternative is Process Explorer. I reccomend downloading that. As for custom button: Its the pick image button.

It's not the start button what I want to change, but these: The buttons for opened programs and windows explorer. I already changed my start button with a custom image.

I'll just use my AVG Tuneup task manager. How can I make classic theme start first on windows 10 startup? And how can I make it so a specific color shceme is used when that happens? BTW, I enabled classic theme, then I reestarted explorer.exe and the taskbar becomes unreadable when I open something. Both with Classic Shell on and off.

I heard you might be able to change them with StartisBack++ or ReactOS taskbar but SIB++ is a paid product and ReactOS taskbar is hard to install without technical knowhow.
