Hello, I tried to install SCT (I'm on Windows 10) but I encountered the same problems as ctrlaltdel. The difference is that only a few options seem to have partially worked. I end up with a graphical "error" in the windows explorer (black text in dark mod and the white bar), the 3D effect on the menu and a mix between the old task manager and the current one.  Is there a way to get back to "normal"? The Disable button didn't work. I tried to install the last windows update to fix this, but it didn't work either. Thank you for your help. |

Removing SCT will be introduced in 1.2.0. For now I can only help you with your explorer issue.
It seems that you don't have an option enabled. Do the following:
Open a explorer window
Press Alt
Click Tools->Folder options
In the View tab check Launch folder windows in separate process.
This will make explorer follow the classic theme configuration instead of being themed normally. You still have to disable ribbon, which you can do with RibbonDisabler inside SCT

I tried it, but it didn't work. I just remembered that I already had this problem a few years ago. Unfortunately, I don't remember how to solve it anymore haha.
I will keep looking for a solution, thanks anyway!

I'm having some trouble getting the settings I put into the Display Properties panel to apply. Display Properties just hangs. I don't know what to do, and it has some weird skin names in it. Edit: I've fixed the issue with AE on the GitHub page. It's working smoothly now.  |

Hey OP, great stuff. I love this project. Thanks for your hard work. Curious thing I noticed, on your tutorial, you listed the latest release version as 1.1.3, but on your GitHub, your latest release is 1.1.2. Is this just a typo? Because I noticed you mention some things that aren't accessible, at least for me, in 1.1.2. For example, there is no File>Options dropdown bar and Alt+F+O does nothing. See pic:  I can file this as a bug on your Github if you want. Also, will there be an option to use the regular File Explorer, or pick and choose some options in the future? I like having the searchbar in the top right corner when I'm opening files. |

1.1.2 is indeed a typo. The guide is written for the upcoming version 1.2.0, as quite a bit of stuff changed. So SCT+T is not available publicly yet. So no need to report it on GitHub. About explorer, it would look like this after enabling classic theme (and disabling ribbon):  So no need to worry about your search bar! |

UPDATE: 1.2.0 The update has been deleted because it was fundamentally broken
- Fixes GitHub issues #19 and #20
- Added an option to use SCT Taskbar instead of Open-Shell+SiB (See SCTT Thread)
- Added an option to completely remove classic theme from the system

Update 1.2.0 has been removed from GitHub due to numerous issues. The release will be delayed indefinitely.

I'm having some minor issues, the clock on the new SCT taskbar is bugged and is stuck on 5:03pm. I'm going to submit a GitHub ticket soon, but I thought I'd say it here in case I looked over a settings option. Will there be a way to put shortcuts on SCTT in a future update? Hopefully I am not asking too much because this project is amazing. Thanks for all your hard work. Sorry if I'm quoting incorrectly or something. It's been a long time since I've used an actual forum. Not since the days of GameFAQs and Something Awful haha. |

I've replied to your issues on GitHub. As for the quoting, you're doing it fine but next time preferably remove the inner quote. That way we can prevent 20 nested quotes in a single comment.

When I pick "SCT Taskbar (alpha)", it just goes back to "SiB and OS" and won't actually let me choose it. Am I missing something? On LTSC 2019.
