1. um its ok i pick no to its question and i get the deskn.cpl , dude i just clean installed 1903 on a computer you have no idea how helpful your program is in terms on installing taskmanager and 7tweaker and everything it saves me time looking them up a big THANK YOU!! 2. now adding the tclock that i have posted and the vcredist 2010 files both x86 and x64 would be a great idea . 3. I also discovered that the context menus work but it takes a while for it to load up properly like 2-3 minutes .. 4. But sometimes i get this error 1. No problem dude! I love making the program and hearing that people are happy with it 2. Could you explain what you mean? 3. It takes like 6 right clicks for it to work for me, so interesting how it's time based on your end
4. That error should theoretically be impossible, really interested in how that happened. Might add something to try and catch that error in order to see what exactly went wrong (and more specifically: where it went wrong)

1. This program is the best timesaver no need to look for updated 7 taskbar or taskmanager just do 1 click , its amazing 2. I got full version of startisback but need a way to add it to your setup is there a file-editor that could do that? i mean the tclock i put on my thread with these settings and everything else off so it can produce a win2k/xp feeling cause i removed the 'improved' metro crap Then maybe the classic windows 7 calculator the paint from vista and classic sticky notes could be added into the system? what i wanted to do was add my registered startisback into simpleclassictheme (good for reinstalls) if theres a way to do that? The contextmenus load but not immediately it takes them 2-3 minutes to get functional but they are awesome anyway despite It being beta. Edit maybe remove folderband from shellstyle and delete the pesky ribbon for classic menus are these ideas doable dude?

Ok, after using the application a bit it really doesn't work well. I've made a checklist for the next version: Fix installation of StartIsBack and Open Shell Fix auto-launch Add T-Clock Remove folderband and ribbon (Not sure how I'm gonna do this one) Look into the stupid error you got Check if Defender is nuked instead of only checking for the regkey Add Windows 8+ support Add Folder Options X

In Windows 8.1 the ribbon can be disabled using OldNewExplorer.

Hi I'm using Win 10 1903 and I'm desperately trying to get the win classic theme to work, what happens is the program asks to restart to disable windows defender, but when it restarts, windows defender isn't disabled and the UI still looks like typical Win10.
Do I need any additional programs or anything? The readme file didn't specify what exactly I'm supposed to do or have installed as pre-requisites. I see that you're mentioning StartIsBack, do I need that to use this?

I wonder why Windows Defender is needed to be disabled? On Win8.1 the classic theme works well with Windows Defender on.

It's not for the theme itself. It's just to open the CPL file, as Defender flags it.

Aside from the windows offender that offends all of us thing i discovered a new thing : That classic context menus is pretty good but when it does not work you would need to create a folder on the desktop with any name and any file inside it then press right mouse on that file and the contextmenus will be activated (was this done deliberately?) One more bug im constantly getting on different 1903 versions is that you made classictheme turn the taskbar all skinny similar like having classictheme.exe installed first and not same like classicthemea.exe just saying .

If you manually download StartIsBack++, you have to manually install the theme files. About the issue with the skinny taskbar: It's because the explorer shell process sometimes takes longer then 5 seconds (5000ms) to load fully. And I can't know when explorer is finished with loading. Here's my solution: I'm gonna add an option to increase the time my utility waits for explorer to load, that way explorer has the time to load without bugs and after that classic theme will get enabled.

btw powerplayer I don't want to kill your dreams but Win10 doesn't have folderband xD It appears after disabling ribbon also, can't reproduce the error your got? what version of win10 (eg Win10 1903 build 18362) do you use and what version of simpleclassictheme do you use (b8 or b9)
