No. This has nothing to do with the start menu but, thanks to Craftplacer is that SCTT will be able to load any XP Visual Style (*.msstyles) and render the taskbar accordingly. This means that SCTT will be compatible with pretty much all XP themes. Here's a sneak peek of the work I have done (It's not finished yet, don't worry, it will be worked on): Attachments:

Came across a bug I can't replicate:
Turned my monitor off for 15 mins and came back to this. Had to logout and back in for it to clear whatever was causing it.

Can't reproduce = can't find. Press Debug next time so you can see where it fails.

Probably the SCTT requires SCT message because they’re running SCTT directly from GitHub instead of enabling SCTT through SCT. Tried to tell them that multiple times, gave up on it.

Powerplayer, my advice would be just to check out Retrobar, otherwise we'll be going in circles with this.

I have uploaded a new release onto GitHub. Anyone using SCT Taskbar in conjunction with SCT should be updated to this version automatically.
Unfortunately, this is not one of the newer SCT.T versions we sneak peaked and beta tested with some people. This is the march build (the last public build) modified so that the stupid messagebox about an error doesn't appear. I think SCT.T is slowly entering the path Start9 went down. Development has come to a complete stop and the source tree is a mess. It pains me to say this, but this will be the last release of SimpleClassicTheme.Taskbar. It has been a fun ride!

Pushed another release on Git, this one literally has no changes except the version number being accurate so that SCT doesn't break.

Excuse me, but how do i use it in SCT? I tried dragging the program to it but it doesn't work, it just make SCT stop working until i restart it.

You have to install SCTT through SCT itself.

Has development on this stopped? I finally got it to work and for now it seems to be stable but I would love a double height classic taskbar.

Yes, the project is not being developed currently. I would suggest you try RetroBar, and give suggestions for functions you had in SCTT and are missing with RetroBar here: github.com/dremin/RetroBar/issues

Exactly what it says. You need to install SCT Taskbar through SCT as it is not available as a separate utility.

When i right-click on running applications in the lower taskbar - the right-click menus do not appear, but huge windows appear with the name IconTest. Why is this and how to remove it? (win10)

(win10) View AttachmentThat is a debug feature left in by mistake by the dev for, you guessed it, testing icons. AFAIK right click menus for taskbar items were in the pipeline, but I think the whole project is on hiatus atm. Might be best to switch over to Retrobar from within the SimpleClassicTheme setup for the time being.

That causes SCT Setup to crash, go download RetroBar manually and extract it into C:\sct\retrobar, then change the taskbar option to RetroBar. Yes you have to do it like that.
