Does your taskbar show the current input language in the tray?

Nope, but it's on the list!

It seems the taskbar buttons are not shown entirely correctly: their top and side borders are too thin (1px) compared, for instance, with the start button and with task buttons on WinXP/7

No. They are, I thought the same thing because I was looking at my Win9x screenshots. But in Win2000, Microsoft slightly changed how borders render. Here's an image (Scaled x5 with Nearest Neighbour so you can see the pixels without zooming in): As you can see the SCT Taskbar button is the exact same as the Win2K one (Except that it is 1px too thin and the bottom left is odd but I'm already looking into that). Theoretically if you would run SCT Taskbar on Win9x the borders would be the exact same as the normal taskbar.

Yea but systemuseslightmode registry switch is ignored by your taskbar the taskbar icons just stay white www.howto-connect.com/set-light-theme-windows-10/Also you should add an option for us to remove your start button and use whatever we got on classicshell Dude I literally said I'll fix it. That start button thing is a great idea, I'll definitely add that down the road.
Cool man!!! Another suggestion: Group by id and combine grouped buttons list when you leftclick a list pops up rightclick and get an option to close them just like 7taskbar tweaker does it Option to remove my computer and show desktopfolder that is near the start button . add the show/hide desktop near the clock and maybe add back the support for usewin32trayclockexperience (maybe need to mail startisback creator on how to do it) maybe include show/hide/lock taskbar for everything so that people can easily go from win7 to xp to 7

You can already disable the quick launch The show desktop icon would be a great option, definitely doing that! Do you mean auto hide?

Nope i mean if people want to hide items that are there there u could add tickable boxes for that like somebody dont want the show/hide desktop they can just hide/disable it .

powerplayer support for 7+ Taskbar Tweaker is impossible. My taskbar in no way uses parts of the original taskbar to render itself. It's written completely differently. What you could do is say what you like in 7+TT and I'll add it! anixx It is being drawn correctly. Compare it pixel by pixel (top one is Win2K, other one is my taskbar): The only problem is that the pixels I marked green are actually not rendering for some odd reason.

I've been using your taskbar over the past day and here's some suggestions/ideas I've come up. QuickLaunch - Tooltips when highlighting icon. - 3D effect when highlighting icon. - Be able to move quicklaunch icons around by dragging them to an order you want. - Selectable icon spacing. Taskbar - Move taskbar items around/change order. - Be able to hide items from the taskbar so they don't show up. - Stack taskbar items like this: - Toggle on/off taskbar item tooltips. - Add the option to have the taskbar icons show as icons only. - Add option to autohide the taskbar and if possible, a hotkey to hide taskbar at will. Clock - Left click to show the calendar dialog. - Right click menu for quick access to time/date settings, etc. - Tooltip when hovering over the clock, and if possible, allow the text to be customizable. System Tray - Switch to either a tooltip or default bubble when hovering over systray icons. - Be able to move systray icons around by dragging them to an order you want. - Be able to hide certain systray icons. Feel free to ignore any or even all of this. This is not a list of demands, just a bunch of suggestions. Cheers.

Wow, that's a lot. I definitely see things I really like. As time goes, I'll probably add all of it. Thanks!

It turns out .NET tooltips are the shittiest thing ever! Here's a tooltip that displayed at the top my other monitor: Microsoft really needs to fix .NET. It's just one giant bug.

This can come in odds with window animations.

Just dropping by to say that I'm using this as a daily driver in conjunction with 'SimpleClassicTheme.exe' on Windows 10 version 1903 and it's honestly very good! Aside from what I've seen already suggested, I'd wonder if there was a way you could get your taskbar to use custom icons for system tray elements, like how classic/open-shell can use custom icons for start menu elements. Keep up the good work! I'm a very happy customer.

Nice work, thinking on testing it if its better than the current win98 taskbar on my setup. Where should the .dll be placed?
