So how do you do it? Extended Kernel/Core? Do you spoof your reported NT version number so the Software thinks it is on XP/Server2003?

WMP 11 themed like WMP 12. It's not perfect but it's better than nothing. this is what i did, but i have something better for you: WMP12 Aero for XPWMP12 Black for XPWMP12 for XPThese are better, replace the wmp11 style with the real wmp12. for this, you need to reshack wmploc.dll ver number. |

Guide for installing Windows 2000 with the extended kernel:Requirements:- An already installed Windows 2000 SP4 or later system - An English Windows 2000 Professional SP4 ISO - HFSLIP (https://mega.nz/folder/2lBVBBLI#WqmqhpxuX0qyCY1LiX4-gw) - KernelEx for Windows 2000 (http://blog.livedoor.jp/blackwingcat/archives/1299806.html) (Site is mostly in Japanese, scroll down to "v30i*[2022 Jan]" and download the English version) Preparing the ISO:0. (optional) Disable UACIf you are preparing the ISO on Windows Vista or later, it is advised to disable User Account Control so you will not be prompted with lots of UAC prompts. 1. Download HFSLIPIn the link for HFSLIP provided, there will be a HFSLIP folder and inside that a FullPack folder. Download the .7z file in the FullPack folder. 2. Slipstream HFSLIPExtract the 7z archive. There will be a batch file inside and there will be a SOURCE folder after running it. Extract your Windows 2000 ISO into the SOURCE folder. Run the batch file again and follow the prompts in the command window (start off with option A and hitting enter on the second prompt). This will take half an hour or longer. Installing Windows 2000 and the extended kernel:1. Install Windows 2000
After HFSLIP is finished, there should be a Windows 2000 ISO in the HFSLIP folder bigger than the original one. This install will be exactly identical to a regular Windows 2000 install.
2. Install KernelEx
Transfer the KernelEx install file to the Windows 2000 install with either external storage or shared folders if using VirtualBox or VMware. The executable must be copied to the desktop or there will be issues. If dialogs pop up, click OK.After install:- Application Compatibility Launcher
