supposedly this site works to convert the theme.css files for newer updates ^^ it worked only partially for me, but i've wanted to use this theme for a while so i may go through and try to fix the rest myself;

I can't figure out how to add the icons after adding the css. am I doing anything wrong? Also, far as I can tell, the modified version of the theme I made back then doesn't work anymore. I'd try updating it... but my gosh that seems like way too much work, heh. Sorry. aww, it'd be great if u can fix it.. it looks so fantastic..  |

how do i get my discord bg to match the color of everything else? its either completely white or the dark and it doesn't match

Here's something kind of related to Classic Theme and Discord. It is actually possible to make QT on Ripcord emulate Win32 Classic Theme. One can set a environment variable to enable it. (Here's a tutorial on how to do it: www.techjunkie.com/environment-variables-windows-10/)  Results: 
I hope there is a general method to force Qt apps to use Windows theme (this includes Telegram, Skype for instance).

Is there any updated versions that work in 2023? I've tested these themes and the seem to be broken. Like icons being overlapped or it entirely not showing up. Thanks  |

hello, they are all broken , because Discord is changing all time classes, and rebuild skin all time is a waste of time.
As you can see the nitro function now offer to change the color , i think Discord dev will force all time for skin creator to rebuild again and again..
Thats why i'm not updating them . And i will not make another theme..
As i remember there is a light version of discord using old theme , but lacking some functions , if one day this version will support streaming .. i will maybe
redo some skins for.

i'm using it and i found no more bug on it, it can happend if you use different zoom level or font size, dark theme, or other settings i think. I'm not working on MSN skin, i still support classic. If you are good in CSS you can modify it too, all is free to use . Ok. Also could you attempt to make a windows live messenger theme for discord? I have been recently trying but the only thing that i'm able to get working is the titlebar since im new to better discord and it's plugins.
When I saw this, I couldn't help but try to make it myself. Here's my W.I.P. attempt so far: It's not even close to finished, but it's definitely resembling something now. |

Good afternoon! When I finish the theme, I will be creating a public GitHub repo, and search how to upload themes to the BetterDiscord repo. I don't know for how long I will be able to maintain the theme, but I don't mind people forking it when I release. I also plan on creating one based on WLM 9! If you want, use can use reshack for changing the Discord msn by the old Msn too ^^ I really would like to understand CSS as you did.. I don't feel like changing the icon yet, but thanks for the suggestion!. I've already been debating whether I will create a Discord icon based on WLM 8's design language, or use the WLM 8's icon Don't feel bad! The only reason I know so much is because I had HTML and CSS classes in school, which sparked me an interest in Web Design which made me wanna learn more by myself, meaning I had to practice a lot by myself at home. I'll probably post more updates today, so stay tuned! |

Update! I changed to Discord light theme by default since WLM does not have dark mode, so things just fixed by itself. Anyways lots of cool new stuff, some small but they still make a huge difference. I've worked mostly on the servers bar and the chat itself, hope you all can tell the difference! Don't mind the weird ass conversation... |

This is only css ? or you are using plugin ?
B the way shis is amazing i think you can hide the server list (mouseover on left for showing) (or pushing on top of the window ) ^^

B the way shis is amazing i think you can hide the server list (mouseover on left for showing) (or pushing on top of the window ) ^^ This is all CSS-only, I might create plugins for it to fix some things like the user profile in the top left being low quality (since it's bigger than the image resolution), but I'm not planning to go far with scripts. For the server list, I was trying to copy this, but it's hard... but I think it's the best approach so far  Thanks for the suggestion  |
