All factors considered...this could've been a lot worse.

Thanks. Looks like little change from Win10 so far. The folder icon became more "classic" (Win9x-like). The cassic system properties window was removed.

Does the snap function work in classic theme (the window management buttons)?

Looks like Plasma 5 by the way. Looks more like Deepin to me.
Also, does Open-Shell work on Windows 11?

My report on Windows 11:
For now it looks fine. As Splitwirez mentioned it could have been a lot worse. They only really changed Explorer (the shell part) and DWM's style. Nothing too crazy here. Some thing's I've noticed:
SCT and SCTT don't work anymore. SCT with OS+SiB doesn't work because those have not been updated yet for W11 and SCTT doesn't work because the reported version number changed to 11 so it refrains. I'm currently downloading VS 2019 on W11 to further test if there's any other issues. One that comes to mind is how the taskbar layout has changed and the system tray might have a different classname. I will report on this later. Alt+Tab has improved a lot. It's now pretty much full screen and because of that it displays a more meaningful image of each window. The taskbar is less buggy with classic theme enabled. But when any animations start the taskbar begins flashing a lot. The product SKU's still match Windows 10 so you can use Windows 11 with a W10 license. The kernel version is still 10.* which means that the release we got is technically Windows 10. The start menu's window is actually bigger than the window itself, probably to accommodate for the larger shadow than other windows. Folders are removed inside of the All apps sections of the start menu. Instead all the folder contents are directly added to the list. Task Manager still doesn't work with Classic Theme. Fixing it for Classic Theme does not seem to be on Microsoft's agenda. My 2012 15" MacBook Pro is still capable of running Big Sur, Windows 10 and Windows 11 simultaneously with Parallels. Cool and good.

Thanks for the report. I have some questions:
Is it possible to turn on the task labels on taskbar? Do they appear in Classic theme?
Is it possible to bring back the Quick Launch panel?
Does the Start Menu appear in Classic theme?
Does the new function of snapping windows work in Classic theme?
Does Alt+Tab work in Classic theme?

Is it possible to turn on the task labels on taskbar? Do they appear in Classic theme? No.
Is it possible to bring back the Quick Launch panel? The taskbar context menu has been shrunk down to just a "Taskbar settings" option which links to Settings -> Personalization -> Taskbar
Does the Start Menu appear in Classic theme? Yes and it works as expected.
Does the new function of snapping windows work in Classic theme? It uses the same UI as Alt+Tab does, which works fine.
Does Alt+Tab work in Classic theme? I've already answered this but: yes it works.

Quick note: SCTT still works in Windows 11 as the version number didn't change, I was just missing the correct .NET version.

Is it possible to turn on labels in non-classic mode?
> Yes and it works as expected.
Even if Explorer was started after Classic theme enabled?
> I've already answered this but: yes it works.
So, the Alt+Tab produces previews even in Classic theme? It does not on Win 8.1.

Yeah I gave SCT a try on Win11 and my issues most stemmed from SiB. It installed fine, but kept crashing at start up, and wouldn't uninstall, throwing an error saying something about Tthemes needing to be enabled or something. As far as classic theme in general, everything seems fine. Atm. This build of Win11 feels very early, and I can see them making more, drastic changes in the coming months/years.

Ouch! This means, there is no taskbar anymore.

Thanks for your comments!

From the first screenshot in this thread it seems, the taskbar is more narrow in classic theme. Is this the case? Also, no clock under classic theme?

By the way, do the metro apps like settings work in classic theme? Not sure if they work natively but SCT starts ApplicationFrameHost before enabling CT and I know it works with that.
