In the last build one cannot switch back to menu or ribbon, OldNewExplorer does not work.

Noticed that too, even in the Windows 11 leaked build. OldNewExplorer doesn't work. Also, if you want to get the ribbon back, go to folder options and select "Launch folder windows in a separate process" and if you want to get the old menus back (on the desktop) look here: nerdschalk.com/how-to-get-back-the-old-context-menu-in-windows-11-on-right-click/Edit: An update broke the way to get the Win10 menu back on the desktop, a new solution needs to be found.

What about getting back the menu bar in folders?

What about getting back the menu bar in folders? The menu bar is impossible to get back without getting the old command bar first, you can only use toolbars like Classic Explorer Bar. Although you could also go into explorerframe.dll and delete the ribbon resource and get the command bar back that way...
