Firstly, download winaero tweaker

Then, just disable the 'enable loading circle' but keep 'enable windows logo' because otherwise you can't exactly replace it. I am so happy with how it looks now and I can finally add an accurate win2k boot logo without it looking wrong

I hate the forced UWP/Metro/Tablet UI in Windows 10/11, I wish they kept at least the Control Panel.

That is quite obvious but it still means you can use any colour boot screen that’s not black (they needed to be black to suit the loading circle so it won’t look out of place)

johnnyghost: Hopefully it doesn't get progressively harder for people to bring the look of older versions of Windows to Windows 11. I'm wanting to keep the classic Windows look from 9x/ME/2K in Windows 11, down to replacing the W11 apps with their W2k counterparts. Aug 10, 2023 20:18:58 GMT -8
