The network folder has been revamped since Vista. The new one required network discovery to work. To restore the legacy network folder that only shows computers, open the run box, and type in:
shell:::{208D2C60-3AEA-1069-A2D7-08002B30309D} You should get the legacy network folder. It might take a while to open.

Here it is on my main computer: You might need to remove network discovery with NTLite to make it work, since for me it didn't work before removing it.

One can create a folder with extension {208D2C60-3AEA-1069-A2D7-08002B30309D} to put it on the desktop.

By the way, what's the CLSID for Entire Network?

By the way, what's the CLSID for Entire Network? Not sure. Putting the address in the run box outputs to: Entire Network"EntireNetwork" Normally when doing that on a special location would give the CLSID. Using the find feature on the regedit doesn't help much either.

Not sure. Putting the address in the run box outputs to: What address are you referring to? The address/navigation bar in explorer.

The address/navigation bar in explorer. How can you put it into run box?

The address/navigation bar in explorer. How can you put it into run box? Right click the address bar, click "Copy address". Paste it in the run box, you should get the CLSID of page if it's a special folder.

Using the find feature on the regedit doesn't help much either. Quero Toolbar is able to expose the CLSID as well, so it should be able to do it better than plain explorer can and find something like {CLSID}\EntireNetwork (Just an example). I was able to find many control panel CLSIDs this way. (Including subdirectories)

Isn't a folder, but i think it fits in this thread: Legacy credential manager dialog:
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe" keymgr.dll, KRShowKeyMgr

Just made a big bump, but here is a registry tweak that replaces network explorer with the legacy network folder:
