i decided to make a classic theme finally after using the default theme for so long recreated win2k winver. it is missing the (R) in between microsoft and windows plus the missing ram total
need to change some explorer icons and also need to get the classic folder view need to change my 3rvx skin a little
EDIT 1: edited the screenshtos to use my new theme
TO DO LIST ---------------- 1. change the icons, look how horrendous my user folder is. 2. get some more classic apps, such as classic calculator and classic games 3. get a more accurate explorer 4. improve the start menu 5. get the netscape navigator appearance on firefox
TBA
----------------
any feedback/resources to improve my theme is appreciated

update, this is a new install of w10 running ltsc 2021, and here are some previews. totally not copying from jackalSystem tray, only has 3 items but i want more of them, i might check out sctt because the system tray is better there and is more customizable. explorer, folder button opens up the winxp treeview using techsalt's AHK script, need to figure out how to get 32px icons, using (i assume) qtoolbar-classic
desktop context menu, i plan on making it more accurate

Great setup, well done! Almost all the elements have a classic look.
I particularly appreciate the color schemes and the wallpapers (including those in your first post, since deleted).

yes, this is the same theme besides the added icon label colors (used d-color xp). im posting because i want to expand on the stuff i used for this theme, im using win10 ltsc 2021/21h2.
modified 3rvx in action. assets were gotten by screenshotting a replica of the colorscheme running the native tray app in win2k. this is turbolaunch, i basically use it as a game launcher and its paid, nothing else to say. really need to change the context menus, the active desktop options do nothing yet and the new section has some windows 7 icons, please give me a good way to edit context menus. explorer, im using sct.feh to remove the address bar and do other stuff, the classic explorer bar icons are the hover versions because of a simple matter of preferences, but i would use icons that resemble that of msfx if i could, but its a pain in the ass to recreate them, speaking of classic explorer bar, im using the explorer98 theme which can be found here: cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/759878958568701993/1083817792748396634/explorer98.7z, just be sure to configure the settings and extract the folder to C:\Classic\icons, for the address bar im using the qtoolbar-classic fork which right now you have to compile. it can be found here: github.com/rounk-ctrl/qtoolbar-classic, i still need to get 32px icons and fix clientedge (i think). clean desktop, also known as the misc section, im using sct for getting classic theme working, replacing icons of programs that i can with reshacker with either those from old versions (like the windows system icons, which i used kakureta's 7tsp pack which can be found here: winclassic.net/thread/1152/windows-classic-icon-pack-7tsp) or icons from win2k or classic program that fit the program (like the discord icon which is from msn1.0), the wallpaper is from this wallpaper pack: desktopgeneration.itch.io/desktopgenerations, its the dynamo wallpaper, and thats (i think) all the stuff i used to get my classic theme setup, still need help on the 32px explorer though

Pankine Your configuration is really successful, I particularly love the sci-fi style mixed with the Windows 2000 style. Could you post the font/color schemes (if you wish of course)?

Yes, that's fine, thank you ! Afterwards, I thought about this one and the others (the Ascension and Green schemes).

Looking at your explorer screenshots, it looks like you're not using the 32px icons. I don't know if this is intentional or not, but here is a link to the thread in question: winclassic.net/post/8059/thread

I reconstructed the "Ascension" scheme from the screenshot on your first post. If below, the versions for CTC ( winclassic.net/thread/1436/new-classic-theme-configurator ) and for deskn. Pankine - Ascension CTC.reg (6.05 KB) Pankine - Ascension deskn.reg (4.67 KB) I just have a doubt about the fonts used. Looks to me like it's Microsoft sans serif without smoothing, but I'm not sure. For the "Green" scheme, I unfortunately cannot reconstruct it, the image has too low a resolution. The original image seems to be on your deleted post (your first forum post). If you still have the original screenshot, and you provide it to me, I could reconstruct the scheme without any problem.

Whenever I open it, no banner shows up at all.
