SE98 (link)Enhanced Classic icon theme (used with  Win98 Second Edition,  Win2K, and  WinME systems) from  MicroSoft Memphis project for  GNU/Linux inspired by  Chicago95 theme (actually it’s a manual copy-paste fork) of Grassmunk with icons in Windows 98 SE style added and/or created by myself. There are icons in 16x16, 22x22, 24x24, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64, 72x72, 96x96, 128x128, 160x160, 192x192, and 256x256 px sizes made by me. Icon theme currently is in process of creating, so there are many icons from Chicago95 and  Faenza themes... I want to replace them with 98 style icons someday...  Arch/Manjaro release installation: yay -S se98-icon-theme-git FreeBSD port installation: pkg install win98se-icon-theme The way to get the freshest workflow version from OpenCode: git clone https://www.opencode.net/nestoris/Win98SE.git ----------------------------------------------------- if you think that some icon is missing in this theme (actually a lot of :-)), write about it here, or on my page on  OpenCode in the " Issues" section. Okay, those 64x64 icons are flat-out gorgeous. Just about what I would expect from even Microsoft themselves had they shipped Win98's icons in that size. Well done!

Computer, Trash, and network icons - Replaced with Win2000 counterparts Video files - Replaced with WMP7 file icons MPlayer and SMPlayer - Replaced with WMP7 icon |

@noahnicholsfourm , Now I understand that it's hard for me to draw larger formats of win2k icons, because they aren't native pixel-arts and I don't understand their logic. So it is a monstrous job to upscale them pixel-by-pixel. Well, here you are trash   icons in 16, 22, 24, 32, 48 px and Computer  and NN  icons in also 64 px size and two AWK scripts (I don't know bash as good as awk) for automatic installation of win2k icons and restoring the win98 icons back. Currently available from GitHub and Pling. You are welcome to update :-) |
