My resolution is 800x600 on my laptop but it is stretched. How can I fix this.

It didn't work. Do I have to delete and reinstall completely or can I just update? |

To answer your question, updating and restarting should work. It is 800x600 which is what I want, the issue is it is stretched. I updated the drivers and restarted and it didn't work. |

(Modern) Laptop screens don't like having lower resolutions than it's supposed to be, even if it's the same aspect ratio, so it appears stretched or pixelated. |

No it's native 1920x1080 but it has been 800x600 since I first got it in February, it's only causing issues now. It used to display perfectly in 800x600 and 1024x768 |
