Background image on File Explorer

This is my current file explorer:
Here is the concept on how a 98-style background could work on the details/preview pane:
I decided to modify the white background that appears on both the details and preview pane. (Despite that the latter doesn't work as I've got previews disabled to show icons instead).
With separation bar/border:
It is not really accurate to the original file explorer from such OS, but gives a somewhat similar feel. Maybe something like this could be done with themes but I don't know. (If someone knows how please inform).
The actual background (clouds) image was gathered from the internet with the original info cropped out manually.
