Anyone know how to fix this? I'm on Windows 11 using a Task Scheduler to enable classic theme with ClassicThemeTray. Also the color schemes from the registry script in this image don't show up in themes2k.exe.

You have already disabled the option. Your screenshot shows that the Windows 7 command bar is enabled.

You already have it disabled hmm weird restart explorer and check I tried that, the black bar still appears. Check which folder you have open. Some do not support this option. Notably : 1. When I check the option "Start Folders in Separate Processes" (I don't use this option, so it does not matter for me, but some use it) 2. After closing the explorer.exe process, then I open a window of the file explorer (which starts to explore.exe without the desktop). 3. When launching My computer folder with address C:\windows\explorer.exe::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}
EDIT: Also tick Disable modern search bar and Enable SysListView32 for Explorer views.

Also thanks for the disable modern search bar and enable syslistview32 options, doesn't help with the black bar issue but nice nonetheless.

While waiting to find a solution, you can use this tool : winaero.com/ribbon-disabler-for-windows-10-and-windows-8/Before using the tool, switch to "Windows 10 Ribbon" mode in ExplorerPatcher.

Maybe you are running 32-bit Explorer.exe on 64-bit Windows?

I tried this, still doesn't get rid of the black bar. Did you restart the system (you have to restart the system to use ribbon disabler) ?

I am sure once it would reach wide market, people will figure out how to remove that command bar. Possibly it can be done the same way as with current Win11 but the CLSID of the bar changed. Explorer Patcher does not support the development builds.
