When I apply basic theme the navigation bar becomes black... I can turn off transparency option in OldNewExplorer but then it becomes white... Is it possible to stretch caption to make navigation bar the same lightblue color as it was in windows 7? Attachments:

What version of Windows are you on ? windows 10 1909 I get a white navigation bar with ExplorerPatcher (this is the default Windows 10 theme, so the navigation bar buttons are not the same). I will try to use RibbonDisabler when I have time, to see the result. I don't have a solution to your problem yet, but what's interesting is that I asked myself the same question about two weeks ago.

I did a little research and realized that the problem is solved by completely killing the dwm. I think this is a bad idea, so I'll be waiting for another solution

Note: you will have to have Visual Studio installed including the .NET 4.7.1 development tools and maybe .NET desktop development (C#) and also if there is Windows SDK try installing it too. For whatever reason, this is not indexed in search results and i couldn't even find it with github search. github.com/Splitwirez/BasicThemer2/tree/detours/ Note: you have to go to bin/debug/basicthemer2.exe. This should restart explorer, and then you should have a blue navigation bar

How does one install the FireFox theme for Internet Explorer 7/8, I know this has nothing to do with the topic, but can't for the life of me figure it out
