This thread is to discuss Windows Search replacements. I have recently stumped upon the program Agent Ransack. It works very well, very fast, feature-rich, integrates with Explorer's context menu and does not require indexing. The only disadvantage for me is absence of Russian language, but French, German and some other languages are supported.

Also there is a rebranded version File Locator Lite with the same features.

My faves are Everything & File Search Classic. FSC is basically a free version of Agent Ransack minus context menu integration (which is a plus imo, I like to keep my menus clean) and Everything is just fantastic. It runs in the background, sure, but it uses so little resources and it finds stuff in seconds. Can't live without it.
