It is Windows Classic theme. I feel like amymor was talking about the color scheme. But maybe I'm wrong.

in a gaming tweak guide (calypto). It is Windows Classic theme. i tested windows classic theme but it needs a lot of stuffs to works correctly, im just looking for a lightweight and simple dark theme.
i guess its impossible in windows 10, i heard good words about rectify11 OS performance, do you tried it?

For calypto, the author doesn't seem to provide the color scheme (.theme or .reg file). I will recreate the schematic from the screenshots soon (but I don't promise anything, as they are low quality jpeg images). For the dark theme, there are several ways: - Use a high contrast theme - Use a custom visual style (like those of niivu, which creates very good dark themes) - Use a classic theme Only using the high contrast theme does not require patching the system. For the classic theme, it's not that complicated. For example, you can follow this tutorial : www.winclassic.net/thread/990/windows-classic-theme-on-1903Use this if multiple user accounts are installed on your system : www.winclassic.net/thread/1221/themeswitcherscriptsYou can also use SimpleClassicTheme : www.winclassic.net/thread/456/simple-classic-theme-supports-windowsFor Rectify11, it seems easy to me to achieve the same thing without modified iso, under Windows 10 as under Windows 11.

in this case i guess performance might be worse than installing a custom theme because needs many apps and codes to run in background, right?
4. SimpleClassicTheme: i have not tried it yet.

High Contrast: I've never heard of these issues with .NET applications. I am curious in knowing more. Custom Visual Style: Personally, I find this style quite consistent: www.deviantart.com/kdr3w/art/Dark-811932372Indeed, some styles are of poor quality, it would be necessary to build an encyclopedia of styles with quality notes. To fix the system, I use this: mhoefs.eu/software_uxtheme.php This program replaces some system files, no additional resources are used. Classic theme: I don't really understand your problem with the taskbar and the control panel. It would help if I had a screenshot. For the task manager, you have to use the old task manager. Regarding system resources, almost no additional resources are used; the only programs required to run in the background are EplorerPatcher and OpenShell. ClassicThemeTray does not run in the background if used with a scheduled task. Afterwards, for better rendering, it may be useful to use 7+TaskbarTweaker, PeNetworkManager or AHK scripts. But that's optional, and even at that, it's not much compared to the default installed process that can be disabled. For the control panel, it is possible to recreate it with shortcuts. SimpleClassicTheme is just another way to activate the classic theme. This does not remove the associated issues. Personally, I prefer using scheduled tasks because it allows for better explorer support. Here are some tips to make Windows faster : www.winclassic.net/thread/105/windows-faster

Here are some tips to make Windows faster : www.winclassic.net/thread/105/windows-fasteri tried that dark theme, same problems like many others( scrollbar without arrow, windows without border that confuse you), still i believe Penumbra10 is best, just needs a little brighter font. another problem with custom themes (include Penumbra10) is that you cant choose a different color for inactive title bar. i usually open many windows so visibility is more important to me than global dark theme. anyway thanks for suggestion. on other hand classic theme is better in terms of visibility, but i dont like to use old task manager too (also taskbar problem is too annoying, i cant send screenshot, imagine you only have 5 buttons in your taskbar and enable always grouping but buttons width expand to the size of your taskbar) , so i think about Rectify11 and wanna test it, might be worth it.

I will let you know if one day I finish.
Personally, I'm planning to create dark modes of the Aero and Aerolite visual styles. I will let you know if one day I finish. For the classic theme : For the task manager, there are many alternative managers. Some have also tried to patch the modern task manager : www.winclassic.net/thread/445/converting-binary-uifile-resources-duixmlThe problem of the taskbar is known, I have already spoken to the developer of ExplorerPatcher about it : github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher/discussions/900I did have a workaround, but it was a bit wonky. I'll let you know when I have time.
