Firefox had a feature to change its icon but it was removed in Firefox 67. But you can still do it!
Open about:config and add toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.windowIcon as boolean. Put your icon file named as main-window.ico to (Firefox installation folder)\browser\chrome\icons\default . Restart Firefox and see what you have done!

I tried this, but it reverted back to the original icon when Firefox updated. The only thing that seems to stick (for me at least) is changing the icon (last one) itself via a resource editor.

Hmm... I might try to reproduce the issue on virtual machine when I have a time.

I am really stupid. I wrote wrong path. Correct path is (Firefox installation folder)\browser\chrome\icons\default . Sorry, I apologize.
