Hello there. I'm running a Win11 VM to see the if the downgrades works before I can update my system which is Win7, but from far Win11 seems to be a lot less classic friendly since I followed anixx's tutorial but the taskbar is kind of broken, for what it seems it's a conflict beetwen Classic Theme Tray (which I couldn't manage to make it start up on log on with Task Scheduler tho) and Explorer Patcher (which I couldn't get the 3D Borders... Dunno, didn't even work) as a marked in red. Also my explorer didn't remove the nav pane and buttons... If that doesn't apply to anixx's tutorial could any of you guys please link me to any topic or tell me how to troubleshoot it through? Thanks! Depending on your screenshot, the classic theme seems correctly activated, but ExplorerPatcher does not seem to work. You must check the installation of ExplorerPatcher. OpenShell seems correctly installed. |

Explorerpatcher was indeed installed since I was using (latest) Windows 11 version but it had a Windows 10 like taskbar... When I don't open Classic Taskbar the taskbar shows up neat and greyish but without 3D borders, the problem starts when I try to use both, which is why I tried to use Leet's version, which only made my system go full white every time I tried both together. To be honest I think that's a incompatibility with the version my Win11 is running on or some late configurations I should've done in Explorerpatcher, but I tried every single option and didn't solve my problem. |

Do you use a stable version or an insiders version of Windows 11 ? Explorerpatcher does not always work on the Insiders versions of Windows 11. Otherwise, I don't really understand what "Leet's version" means. You could show me a screenshot of the Leet's version, and a screenshot of the classic 3D border without 3D borders ? Hope your problem is quickly solved. |
