Hey everyone, I have a ZIP file containing various Windows 8.1 shell components, including MSStyles, the Taskbar, Explorer.exe, and more UI elements. I obtained these files from my Windows 8.1 Virtual Machine. If anyone is interested in testing the Windows 8.1 Metro Desktop Theme with the Taskbar, without relying on third-party programs like Startisback++ or StartAllBack, that would be fantastic. I dislike using Startisback++ because it costs money, and we need free solutions that won't risk bricking our devices. If you're willing to overwrite Windows 10's UGLY UI shell components or reverse engineer them, similar to what the ExplorerPatcher team did with Windows 10 UI components, and apply that to Windows 8.1, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm not asking for the Start Screen or any UWP and XAML components, just the Taskbar, which looks much better than Windows 10's UGLY ASS ONE! PS: I also find Windows 10's Theming to look very UGLY AS HELL compared to Windows 8/8.1 they do Flat Design good. Just look at this image of me comparing the 2's UI against each other Windows 8.1 looks way better than Windows 10 hands down I want it to be possible just to be able to make Windows 10 look exactly like Windows 8.1 on an exact 1:1 scale. I want their to be a way to reduce the over reliance on things such as mods (Windhawk), UI customization tools (DWMGlassBlur, or what ever the DWM thingy is..., Startisback/StartAllback, ExplorerPatcher, etc etc), System Tweaking tools and other things we need to save Windows and make customizing it into looking like older versions alot easier. You'll need to download the Zip though the Achive.org/Wayback Machine cause this site don't allow me to upload files that are more than 4 MBS WHY JUST WHY! archive.org/details/windows-8.1-ui-stuffYou always complain about everything and look at the rules winclassic.net/thread/2/rules

As you're clearly more experienced in DirectUI than I am, is it possible to recreate this from the Windows XP control panel?
