Forum Rules
1. Treat other members with the respect they deserve. This should go without saying, but treat others like you would like to be treated!
2. The forum language is English only! Please only post in other languages in private messages.
3. Please do not spam. The definition of spam is an irrelevant or advertising/marketing posts. Any post considered spam will be removed.
4. Please do not post threads text in all CAPITALS since this is considered to be shouting and is not necessary.
5. Using red text is forbidden. Only moderators and administrators may use this.
6. Insulting and flaming or personal attacks against forum staff will be not tolerated.
7. Please do not post inappropriate material. I think everyone understands what this entails. The policy goes that if you feel the content is not suitable for work, don't post it!
8. Talk about piracy of any kind is strictly prohibited, except in certain cases where the subject matter cannot be legally obtained (so yes, abandonware is usually okay).
9. Racial/hateful slurs or remarks will not be tolerated.
10. If you create a thread, do not post links to it in other threads or the shoutbox, unless the thread you are linking to is directly related to the existing conversation. Otherwise, it is considered spam.
11. If you have a general question on how to do something, please post it in the General Q&A Thread instead of creating an entirely separate thread for it or posting it in the shoutbox.
12. When making a post, please make sure it is in the appropriate board or thread, and don't derail an existing conversation.
13. Necroposting is forbidden in most cases. Unless you are sure that what you are posting is significant enough to warrant it, you should not do it.
14. Distribution, derivation, or in-depth discussion of the functionality or contents of leaked or otherwise illegally-obtained source code is strictly forbidden.
15. The staff have the final say. If you're told to stop, stop.
If you have any questions regarding the rules feel free to PM any member of site staff, who will be able to clear things up for you.
