Hi, I was wondering if there is any way to replicate Windows XP's Welcome screen as well as the account switch/logon screen/UI in Windows 10. Would imagine the Welcome screen would be easier than the latter at least as long as it's possible to remove the account name and picture from being displayed and changing the font/text display as well as the image with XP's.

I don't think its possible due to how Windows 10 winlogon has been modified, i'm not really sure although. I think theming of winlogon in Windows 10 is hardcoded

I think theming of winlogon in Windows 10 is hardcoded Windows 10 stores the UI of LogonUI in a DLL (Windows.UI.Logon.dll). When removed, it fallbacks to using ConsoleLogon.dll and uses a command line login screen. It is probably possible to make your own UI DLL for LogonUI, but there's no documentation on that.

Yeah, the only issue is to actually learn how to theme it, which is pretty hard without documentation.

It's been a second French, I feel less alone. I don't know if you know this project, it's not a reproduction of the Windows XP login screen, but it's more "classic" than the Windows 10 login screen: www.winclassic.net/thread/1223/release-1-2-classiclogonshell

This project is more to replicate the classic login screen, but I think with a few modifications it can result in a login screen similar to Windows XP.

the logonshell2 thing isnt really that good. it only offers that bad looking console login. like atleast add the welcome screen.
