Porting Windows XP Media Center 2005 application to Win10

I want to bring in the Windows XP Media Center application to modern Windows. However, even setting the compatibility settings to Windows XP does not resolve the issue, nor adding Media Center registries in the Registry. This is version 2005 btw, anyone ever managed to port it to modern Windows before? I know the Windows 7 MCE app has been ported to Windows 8 but Microsoft official, though there were unofficial ports allowing it to work on 10.
