Warning : This list is under construction.
Progress: Many author schemes have been imported; however, many more remain to be imported. A few Microsoft schemes schemas have been imported, but most remain to be imported.
Legends :
This scheme contains large fonts and buttons.
This scheme is available with large fonts and buttons.
This scheme contains high/accurate colors, it is not at all compatible with limited color monitors/graphics cards.
This scheme is optimized for PLASMA monitors.
This scheme is optimized for LCD monitors.
This scheme is optimized for OLED type LCD monitors.
This scheme is monochrome, it is compatible with 2-color monitors/graphics cards.
This scheme is a Light scheme in the modern sense of the term.
This scheme is a Dark scheme in the modern sense of the term.
This scheme uses non-TrueType/Open-Type fonts. Font smoothing is therefore applied only partially or not at all.
This scheme is a high contrast scheme (beware, this is only for the display, not to be confused with the high contrast mode of Windows).
This scheme is a low contrast scheme
This scheme follows Windows 3.x/NT 3.x display specifications (or is ported directly from these systems). In the future, they can be used with Cascades (for Windows XP and later versions).
This scheme follows the classic Windows style display specifications.
This scheme is designed to be used with the high contrast mode on the Aerolite visual style (only available in Windows 8 and above). In other words, it respects the display specifications of the high contrast mode. This does not necessarily mean that the scheme is high contrast, although it often is.
This scheme requires specific system modification(s) to work properly, with Windhawks or other tools. The modification(s) is generally specified. This is not specified for the classic theme, because it is not specific to certain schemas (this is the case for all schemes intended to be used with the classic theme).
This scheme is compatible with VGA 16-Color monitor/graphics cards.
This scheme contains 16 colors or less, it is compatible with VGA 16-Color monitor/graphics cards.
This scheme requires a specific visual style to work properly. The visual style is generally specified.
This scheme follows the Solarized specifications.
This scheme is a grayscale scheme.
At the moment I'm porting the schemes to torto 's control panel. I have already made good progress.
I'll probably forget some, so I'm open to suggestions.
Concerning the respect of the sources, I think to add a link to the original source each time, except in the case where the source is dead.
With respect to the authors, if you do not want your schemes to be present on the list ask me to delete it, I will do it. Even if personally, I think that everything deserves to be archived, even what is not necessarily finalized.

Progress: Many author schemes have been imported; however, many more remain to be imported. A few Microsoft schemes schemas have been imported, but most remain to be imported.
The goal is to make a list of as many Win32 control schemes as possible. Mostly for Classic Theme, but also some schemes specific to certain visual styles (typically: Windows XP), or even for the Aerolite High Contrast visual style. Most files will be available on Archive.org. A list will be present on this topic, with a classification by author.
The files will be entries in the registry, compatible with WinClassicThemeConfig. Sometimes the schemes are available in other formats, this is indicated by legends :
CTC = WinClassicThemeConfig (always present) | DSK = deskn.cpl (or desk.cpl) Some colors are not configurable | WP = WinPaletter | THM-C = .theme files prior to Windows XP | THM-XP = Windows XP .theme file | THM-V7 = Windows Vista-7 .theme file
THM-M = .theme file later than Windows 7 (8-10-11) Only colors | 3DCC = Jasmin 3D Color Changer Only colors | 3.x = (Windows 3.x/NT 3.x color picker) Only colors, some colors are not configurable
CC = Color Control Only colors, some colors are not configurable | RM = ReMetric Only Metric | NMUI = No!! Meiryo UI Only Fonts | DA = Desktop Architect Some colors are not configurable | DSS = DisplaySet Some colors are not configurable
