You do not experience this?
> As for the transparency, yeah, I think that's fixable with a theme. The themes I've created actually have a separate CSS file for Aero styling. This way, it's super easy to remove if I or anyone else ever wants to do so.
I found a place in the theme that makes transparency and other Win 7/8/9 adjustments but when I remove it the browser says the theme is corrupted.

Does that appear for you for all color schemes? > As for the transparency, yeah, I think that's fixable with a theme. The themes I've created actually have a separate CSS file for Aero styling. If you don't mind, feel free to share it so I can get a better idea. >not using Windows 9 as your primary OS

Well, PaleMoon can be fully fixed (both transparency and the black line)by putting the IbmPad's original dlls into its folder. dwmapi.7z (4.22 KB) Also, ClientEdge fix from Firefox works. Still, there is some 1-px white line in the bottom...

Well, fixed the white line by changing the Client Edge fixer to this: browser { padding:1px !important; }
.browserStack { border-top: 0px solid ThreeDShadow !important; border-left: 1px solid ThreeDShadow !important; border-right: 1px solid ThreeDHighlight !important; border-bottom: 0px solid ThreeDHighlight !important; }
.browserStack:before { content:"\a0" !important; display:block !important; padding:2px 0 !important; line-height:1px !important; border-top:1px solid ThreeDDarkShadow !important; border-left:1px solid ThreeDDarkShadow !important; border-right:1px solid ThreeDLightShadow !important; border-bottom:1px solid ThreeDLightShadow !important; }
Now all looks perfectly. I also use the following style to make the bookmarks to appear as icons only. @namespace url(http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul); #PersonalToolbar toolbarbutton:not([container="true"]) label { display: none !important; } #PersonalToolbar toolbarbutton:not([container="true"]) { padding: 1 !important; } #PersonalToolbar toolbarbutton:not([container="true"]) image { margin: 0 !important; }

So thanks to this thread I was able to learn what Pale Moon was. I quickly installed it, and after a couple of minutes I was able to create this. This makes me incredible happy. Noob here. Can you walk me through the how?

It's been a while since I've customized things, and this info is coming off the top of my head, so I may be wrong, but...
There are some Pale Moon themes that let you get Netscape icons. And if pale moon is anything like firefox, you should be able to right click your navigation bar, click "Customize" and be able to move all your icons around. You can also right click the navigation bar to enable the menu bar. Lastly, I think there is a settings menu that lets you enable large icons with text, but I'm not sure where that is.

Pale Moon. Too many good extensions don't work on Firefox.

Pale Moon. Too many good extensions don't work on Firefox. Yeah, especially with Firefox Quantum.

Pale Moon. Too many good extensions don't work on Firefox. At the cost of extensions using the WebExtensions API(which don't even have the XUL branch). If you depend on the XUL extensions and the WebExtensions ones as well then i recommend installing Basilisk, which is made by the same guys from Pale Moon

K-Meleon got a new build using Goanna engine. Much more stable than previous version, I would say!
