Following this guide i was able to change some of the colors in disk usage chart. Original blue colors hex value is 26 A0 DA however there is only one instance of this color in shell32.dll. So only the indicator on top changed its color. Also to edit signed system files i followed the method from this forum. I searched shell32.dll.mun and .mui files too but couldn't find this color in those files. EDIT: Added extended style WS_EX_CLIENTEDGE to shell32.dll.mui in System32/locale folder, dialog 1080.

Indicator colors on the left side of used/free space text are flat normally. With style applied they look like in the picture.

While trying to edit MTP file copy dialog i found out wpdshext.dll still uses old pie chart. Maybe it could be possible to port this to shell32.dll. (I changed colors to make sure that it's actually stored in the dll file.) I found it. Color code is just reversed in hex. Instead of searching 26 A0 DA search for DA A0 26 and enter new colors in reverse order. Searched FF FF FF in forward direction and changed it to 00 00 00. (Offset 43428F in Win10 1903) Now it became 2D pie chart.

Nice job! Massive improvement over the horid "modern" version. EDIT: I can't edit shell32.dll, just shell32.dll.mui, but really good job finding this. If I ever get around to re-doing a W11 install, this is the first thing I'm doing.

I think, a Windhawk mod could do it.
