A few hours ago I installed Windows 8.1 on a partition of my SSD and I am in the process of applying a Vista theme. So far the experience has been OK. I do find it a little sad using 8.1 wasn't as awesome as it was in 2022.

I also got my hands on a patched uDWM.dll which aligns the titlebar text to the left and also makes the close button a little wider.
